The Task
OMS Oilfield Services is a leading Oil Field Service and manufacturing company. They were requiring an anti-slip solution for access steel grates around a large Lathe that was suitable to oils and cutting fluids.
Staircare supplied SPG anti slip strips made from FRP fiberglass reinforced plastic with heavy duty anti slip grit. They are suitable for high exposure to oils, cutting fluids and chemical cleaning products such as acids, alkalines and solvents

- AS 4586-2013 Slip Resistance Classification of New Pedestrian Surface Materials, including:
- Appendix A: Wet Pendulum Test — Class P5
- Appendix B: Dry Floor Friction Test — Class D1
- Appendix D: Oil-Wet Inclining Platform Test — Slip resistance assessment group R12
Project Outcomes
SPG Anti-Slip Strips were secured with SPG universal saddle clip assemblies to the steel grating delivering excellent slip protection and significantly improving staff safety
