Can Staircare SPG design a custom-made solution?
Yes. Most SPG projects are developed in close collaboration with our customers. Please contact us to discuss your specific requirements.
Has Staircare SPG anti-slip finish been slip resistance tested?
Yes. The SPG anti-slip surface finish has been tested in accordance with AS 4586:2013 – Slip Resistance Classification of New Pedestrian Surface Materials, including:
- Appendix A: Wet Pendulum Test – Class P5
- Appendix B: Dry Floor Friction Test – Class D1
- Appendix D: Oil-Wet Inclining Platform Test – Slip resistance assessment group R12 and R13
Slip test reports are available on request and were conducted by NATA-certified facilities.
Are SPG materials and structures compliant with Australian Standard AS 1657:2018 Fixed Platforms, Walkways, Stairways and Ladders: Design, Construction and Installation?
Yes. SPG materials and structures can be made to fully comply with AS 1657:2018.
Can SPG material be cut to size?
Yes. SPG materials are supplied in standard dimensions or can be cut to your specifications.
What are Rig Mats used for?
Designed to withstand extreme conditions, Rig Mats provide a flat, firm, and non-slip surface that allows crews to move safely across job sites. SPG Rig Mats are engineered to resist weather damage, provide drainage, withstand chemical exposure, and resist pressure warping.
How much does a square metre of polyurethane Rig Mat with stainless steel studs weigh?
A Rig Mat measuring 1 m × 1 m × 30 mm thick weighs approximately 37 kg.
